Danfoss 45 Series Travel Pump Rebuild — LeeBoy Paver
Project Overview:
Premier Components LLC recently completed a full rebuild of a Danfoss 45 Series hydrostatic travel pump from a LeeBoy asphalt paver after the machine experienced loss of travel power and inconsistent performance on the job.
The pump was removed from the paver and shipped to our shop for a complete teardown and evaluation.
Scope of Work
Upon disassembly, the unit showed internal wear consistent with high operating hours and heat-related breakdown. Our technicians performed a comprehensive rebuild, including:
Complete disassembly and chemical cleaning
Detailed inspection of the rotating group, swash plate, valve plate, pistons, and bearings
Reconditioning of worn internal components
Installation of new OEM-equivalent seal kit and bearings
Precision reassembly to factory tolerances
Calibration and pressure setup to Danfoss specifications
